How to write 15P+4P in a truck-switch RFQ
A two-connector notation needs two separate checks, not a total of nineteen pins.
SAP-B212 is recorded as 15P+4P, while SAP-B212A is 15P+2P. Both are BENZ Axor door-switch records, but they have different OE references. If the plus sign disappears in a spreadsheet, the connector information becomes ambiguous before a supplier even sees the photographs.
Keep the connector groups separate
Use columns such as Connector A and Connector B. Record 15P in the first and 4P or 2P in the second; do not replace 15P+4P with 19P. A total does not show how many plugs exist, their keying or their arrangement.
Tie each notation to one OE
0045455913 belongs to the SAP-B212 catalog record; 0045455113 belongs to SAP-B212A. Do not place both OE numbers in one unqualified cell. If the customer provides another reference, preserve it as the requested reference and show the proposed catalog code in a separate column.
Ask for the photograph that resolves the question
A useful rear view shows both complete connectors, latches and readable markings in one frame, followed by close-ups. Add a front view of the controls and a side view of the mounting clips. Pin counts alone are not a wiring diagram or fitment decision.
Carry the plus sign through the order
The confirmed notation should remain unchanged in the quotation, PI or purchase order, label approval and receiving sheet. If a later document says only 15P, stop and clarify which second connector was agreed before quantities are released.
